AmputeesCAN
Are you facing an amputation?
Have you, or someone you know, lost a limb?
Are you concerned about your future?
Do you wonder what will happen next?
We can help!
We meet the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 in the Activity Center at the Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church
1500 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC.

Please join us!

Meet with people who REALLY understand; people who have, or are,
sharing your experience.

Amputees, their families and caregivers, are invited to attend. There is no charge.

We discuss issues involved in losing a limb such as body image, financial concerns, adjusting to a prosthesis, relationships and employment changes.

We provide peer visitation (one-on-one) visits, both pre- and post-surgery as requested.

We have guest speakers and plan to hold social activities of interest to the group.
Make a Donation
Donations to AmputeesCAN will be used to defray printing and meeting costs and we HOPE, WISH and PRAY to send a child (children!) to an amputee camp! YOU can help make it happen!
